FREE Forest School inspired play sessions on the Commons
This year marks the Friends of the Commons fifth year of WildChild! They have been a huge success.
During this time we have welcomed around 2,500 familiy members to the commons, many for the first time and it would be fair to say that everyone has loved it.

FOREST PLAY SESSIONS.
During the Easter holidays Forest School Play sessions took place on Rusthall and Tunbridge Wells Common. The Sessions were FREE so do look out for more events!
Activities include den building, nature crafts, Hapa Zome: the ancient art of leaf and flower bashing to create prints! outdoor cooking, whittling, hammock play, mud play, and carefully supervised marshmallow toasting and fire lighting. The sessions are suitable for children accompanied by an adult. Clothing should be suitable for playing in a woodland setting.
The Friends fundraise and commission Kent High Weald Partnership’s amazing outdoor learning team of Forest School practitioners who provide the expertise and all the equipment, insurances and trained volunteers.
